![]() ![]() "I'd kill for a figure of her in this outfit. As it stands though its still a beautiful rendition very much worthy of her. Packaging - 6 - Standard fare.Would have been nice if they shaved abit off of it though with all the unneeded empty interior space it had.Įnjoyment - 9 - Mostly just because of the hair color. If they'd gotten that more accurate she'd be a spot-on take of Lucy-chan. Easily can do without said atrocity though making for easy mounting on a proper clear piece of plastic later on. Posing - 10 - Just fantastic. The way her hands rest on the wood as she quizzically looks out toward you.Pure Ruuko!īase - 9 - Only loses a point for making me have to even look at the mint green "thing" they expected you to sit her real base on. Painting - 6 - Theirs a few bits of nice shading here and there, but the slightly off color hair and lots of small imperfections really add up in the end sadly. Only her underside mares an otherwise lovely sculpt. Sculpting - 9 - Wonderfully captures her both in face and body. "My sad little attempt at bokeh that didn't quite work.Blame Yuna for making me feel like trying it. Her pose on the other hand is perfection. While seeing her in her trademark "Ruuu~~" pose would have been a treat I think this one works far better in a less comical way as she sits rather cutely on the log slightly leaned forward with an expression both inquisitive and vacant utterly suiting little miss Ruuko. The shade of her hair is also not entirely right being closer to a lavender color then the light pink it should be. Most are in hard to spot places but some of the ones in her hair are rather painfully obvious at medium distances when viewed from the front. The paint didn't quite come out as nice as the sculpting sadly. Her eyes and shoes are lovely like in the sculpt, but theirs plenty of small chips and imperfections dotted here and there all around. "Lovely legs. And she perches quite well on branches just like the real thing :p" Her shoes and face especially came out well with her undergarments and bum not quite as well. But I'm not one for peaking at such things and you'll never see them when displaying her normally so it won't impact her visual appeal too much. They very accurately captured her long hair and the look of her school uniform. ![]() There aren't any pegs to attach her to it though so do be careful about accidentally bumping her off the thing even if you do decide to use the hideous disc as well.Īs I said before the wood is quite nice and for the most part this holds true for the sculpting in Lucy-chan herself. It sits slightly awkwardly so Ill probably end up buying a clear piece of plastic to glue it on top of, but she still balances extremely well on it when its by itself. This is broken up into two parts.A lovely looking bit of driftwood and a not so lovely looking mint green plastic Frisbee disc.Personally I chucked the disc in the draw and just displayed her with the wood. "Tried going for a more reflective moment that suits her best.eh not 100% sure I succeeded ahah."įirst thing you'll notice about her is her rather unique base. Innards are thankfully extremely hassle-free though and you'll have her out and sitting pretty on your desk in a jiff! The size could have easily been smaller, which is a shame since Koto generally makes boxes without lots of wasted interior space like this one. The rest is a typical TH2-eque graphic with various product shots. #TO HEART 2 BEST ROUTE WINDOWS#It has several large windows making it appropriate for those of you that tend to display your figures in the box. This rendition of her was most likely inspired by the above game CG although the wood she comes with looks more like driftwood to me then a tree branch ahah.Īlright now that I scared off 2/3rds of the people with my geeking out lets get to it! TH2 actually was my very first eroge (Although it was a plain ol' non-H VN back then) some almost 5 years ago.At the time I was still primarily into Mecha and Action, but I was foolishly lured into this and was forever sucked into all things Bishojo ever since. Lucy here comes from the VN/Eroge/Anime/OVA (Yes its made many transitions heh) ToHeart 2. "Oh yea she's got the mysterious transfer girl aura in spades" So lets start off with the first thing to drop on my doorstep from my trip down memory lane shall we! New Years is always an interesting thing.Even though it just a simple change on the calender I can't help, but always feel nostalgic around this time of year and thats precisely what influenced my latest little spending spree for better or worse. ![]()
